Excellent understanding of MOSFET transistor level
characteristics, CMOS design, ASIC design flow, VLSI-design.
Must understand issues related to advanced
nanometer technologies, DFM, LFD, IR, electro migration, SI, LOD,
Proximity-effects etc.
Familiarity with SPICE simulators, HDL
(Verilog/VHDL).
Familiarity with layout and schematic editors.
Basic Understanding of the views like lef, NLDM,
CCS etc. .libs.
Working knowledge of Scripting languages csh, perl
or tcl are preferred.
Strong debugging and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and a good team
player..
